No. If you’ve had your glassware gilded from us, you should not microwave it. This will cause the metal to overhead and spark. This may set off a fire and is a serious health hazard. Do not microwave gilded glassware.
Commonly gilded glass items include wine glasses, vases, doors, and anything that is made to impress. Since it is delicate in nature, it is recommended to gild items that are not often handled, in order to increase longevity.
